Moody Style: 5 Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas

It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is just around the corner. I’m not sure about you guys but I’m really looking forward to spending some quality time with my family, eating delicious food and getting in a little shopping on Black Friday.  Of course Thanksgiving is all about being grateful for all of our blessings and all the amazing food that we get to eat, but I still get excited about creating an outfit for the main feast. We usually keep the dress code pretty casual at my mom's, but I still enjoy getting a dressed up while still making sure I have enough room to breathe and grow throughout the evening.  If you don’t know what you’re wearing to your Thanksgiving dinner yet, then don’t worry cause I’ve got you covered.  I’m sharing 5 different Thanksgiving outfit ideas with you that will keep you comfortable, stylish and festive.

One look that I love is this Tie Cuff Off The Shoulder Shift Dress I got from SheIn.com last month.  It’s currently on sale for only $15 with free shipping.  It’s a lightweight, flowy dress that’s perfect for Thanksgiving dinner.  You don’t have to worry about feeling constricted while you eat and you’ll look cute in the process.  Check out the rest of my outfit ideas below and let me know what you think? What do you plan to wear this Thanksgiving?

Moody Style: Military Chic

I bought this camo utility jacket from JCPenney a couple of years ago and I’m so glad that I did.  I wear this jacket all the time because it goes with just about everything.  Over the past several years, camouflage has become a huge trend for fall and it doesn't seem like it's going out of style any time soon.  If you’re a little on the fence about adding camo to your wardrobe, then start off small with a camo print scarf, a cute t-shirt or a fun little hat.  And if you’re ready to tackle the trend head-on then grab yourself a pair of camo pants or a camo jacket.  Both of these pieces are super easy to style.  Just add a t-shirt and some heels to your skinny camo pants and you’ll have a perfect look for the fall season. And with the camo jacket, just pair it with your favorite pair of jeans, a plain t-shirt and some sneakers for a casual look.  And if you really want a fun look, then try adding a striped shirt to your outfit like I did here.  Check out all the details below and let me know if you have any questions!

In the Mood – J.Crew New Arrivals (November 2016)

If you all need outfit ideas for the upcoming holiday season, then look no further.  J.Crew definitely has more than enough inspiration for just about everyone.  Earlier in the week I had the pleasure of trying on a few of J.Crew’s new arrivals and I literally wanted to take everything home.  I only took a few pictures of outfits, but I’ll try to share them in a later post.  My favorite piece that I tried on is the Silk Twill Pant in Wolfstooth.  I think they will be perfect for any cocktail event or holiday party.  The pants are a relaxed fit and really comfortable – it even has an elastic waist. It almost feels like you’re wearing pajama bottoms. I also really liked the  Flounce Silk Dress in Wolfstooth.  I don’t know what I love more the wolfstooth print or the flouncy ruffle hem.  I also really liked the fit of the Cropped Maddie Pant in Black Watch Bi-Stretch Wool.  I’m definitely going to pick up a pair of these pants because I’ve missed out on this print in the past. Have you guys checked out the new arrival yet? Which items are you most likely to buy? My favorites items from J.Crew are pictured below and I’m sure they will  put you all in a good mood! Check them out and let me know what you’re loving this month.
