OOTD: First Whispering Dress

I bought this dress at the beginning of last month when it popped back up in my Anthro Wish List.  Don’t you love pop backs?  I wanted this dress after seeing it on Kim (here) and Maria (here).  I had my hands on this dress in January, but when I went to the register I noticed that the dress had holes and was tearing at the bust/waist seam.  I was so upset because the dress was no where to be found until the pop back.  I love the earthy look to this dress.  This delicate dress made by Sunner is 100% silk and feels soft against my skin.  The weather dropped a little bit a few days ago, so I thought I would get one good wear out of this dress before the weather completely warms up.  Are you guys waiting for anything to pop back on your wish list?  I have a few items that I’m still waiting on like the Bianka Blouse, Discovered Lace Dress, and Phlox & Coral Coat.

Fresh Picks to Follow: Shine Bright

BRIGHT COLORS

Now that it’s officially spring, it’s time to say goodbye to those dreary winter colors and say hello to pops of color.  And not just any color, I’m talking about bold, bright, vibrant colors.  I wasn’t sure if I was going to like neon bright color trend, but the bright colors are starting to grow on me.   The key to wearing shockingly neon shades for spring is either wearing monochrome outfits or mixing bright colors together creating an eye-catching combo.  If mixing colors is not your style, then tame the look down a little by adding a little bit of neon colors to neutral clothing.   Here are my top 10 picks for this Friday’s Fresh Picks to Follow.  So what do you think about this trend? Will you be wearing neon bright colors this spring?  Let me know.

OOTD: Damson Lace

Happy Friday everyone!  Is it me or did this week go by really fast?  I’m pretty excited that today is Friday because I took the day off.  I needed an extra day to myself because I’m still tired from my Tampa trip last weekend.  Anyways, I took this picture last weekend after my sister and I got pedicures.   I wasn’t ready to put my shoes on yet, so please excuse my bare feet.  I was elated that I was able to purchase this blouse last September when it popped back into my Anthropologie wish list.   I wore this blouse for the first time and I loved it.  The fit is true to size and it’s very comfortable.  The Binu’s necklace is one of my favorite jewelry pieces that I ever bought from Anthropologie.  It’s versatile and unique and I can always find an excuse to wear it with just about anything.  What’s your favorite piece of jewelry from Anthropologie?   Let me know!
