In the Mood – J.Crew New Arrivals (November 2016)

If you all need outfit ideas for the upcoming holiday season, then look no further.  J.Crew definitely has more than enough inspiration for just about everyone.  Earlier in the week I had the pleasure of trying on a few of J.Crew’s new arrivals and I literally wanted to take everything home.  I only took a few pictures of outfits, but I’ll try to share them in a later post.  My favorite piece that I tried on is the Silk Twill Pant in Wolfstooth.  I think they will be perfect for any cocktail event or holiday party.  The pants are a relaxed fit and really comfortable – it even has an elastic waist. It almost feels like you’re wearing pajama bottoms. I also really liked the  Flounce Silk Dress in Wolfstooth.  I don’t know what I love more the wolfstooth print or the flouncy ruffle hem.  I also really liked the fit of the Cropped Maddie Pant in Black Watch Bi-Stretch Wool.  I’m definitely going to pick up a pair of these pants because I’ve missed out on this print in the past. In the Mood – J.Crew + New Balance Collection

I’m sure that many of you already heard about the sporty J.Crew + New Balance collaboration that came out last week.  I’m already obsessed with this collection and have already placed an order on a couple of things (like this one and this one).  I mean if having workout clothes that’s full of navy and white polka dots, classic stripes and unique colors can’t motivate you to get in the gym, then I don’t know what will.  Check out some of my favorite pieces below and explore the full collection here.

In the Mood – J.Crew New Arrivals (October 2016)

Have you all checked out the new arrivals at J.Crew yet?  I hopped into the store earlier this week on my lunch break to see the new arrivals in person, but I didn’t have a chance to try anything on yet.  However, I did manage to walk out with this Perfect Shirt because I’m obsessed with the colors in this plaid pattern.  I can’t wait to wear it.  I’m also really loving the Rhodes Blazer in Houndstooth Wool – I mean those elbow patches are just perfect.   The next item on my list of things to buy is the love the houndstooth pattern and the elbow patches are just perfect.  I also think the Combo Tweed Dress is just darling for fall.  I’ll have to order it soon so I can try it on because I don’t think my store will get it in stock.  Are you guys excited about the new fall additions? In the Mood – J.Crew New Arrivals (Fall 2016)

Pink, pink and more pink! J.Crew definitely wants all of us to think pink this fall.  I finally had a chance to see the new arrivals in person at J.Crew today and I actually tried on a few pieces as well.  I’ll share my fitting room tryons in a later post, so stay tuned.  I was pretty excited to see so many beautiful shades of pink sprinkled throughout the store.  I wanted to try everything on as soon as I walked in.  Every shop had something for everyone – bold bright colors, paisley prints, a beautiful leopard pattern, subtle ruffles here and there and even a little glitter. To stay that I love the fall collection is an understatement.  I literally want to buy everything right now.  One of the first things I plan to buy is the Margot Top in airy cotton pique.  This top reminds me of some of the older J.Crew pieces that you’ll never get tired of seeing.  Another item that’s at the top of my list is the Cuffed-Sleeve Top in leopard print.  This timeless top is a great statement piece that you can pair up with just about anything - remember leopard is a neutral.  And last, but not least, I don't want to miss out on the Rhodes Blazer in Italian Wool.  The wild flamingo color is pretty spectacular.  I didn’t know what to expect when I saw it online, but in person the color is just wow.  It’s not too bright nor is it too dark.  The color has just the right amount of cool tones in it to make it the perfect pop of color for fall.
