MOODY GIRL IN STYLE: Faux Leather Jacket

Lately the weather here has been all over the place. Over the past couple of days, it has been in the 80's and this weekend it’s supposed to drop down to the high 50's. As much as I love having a cool, crisp fall day, these warm sunny days are still pretty awesome and I plan to enjoy them while they last.

Do you have any pieces in your closet that you absolutely love? You know…those pieces that you wear over and over again? Well, I’ve been head over heels about this cute little number from Target. When I first saw this floral dress on a few other bloggers, I knew I had to get it for myself. It’s super comfy as well as versatile. It is a great dress for warm sunny days with a pair of sandals or strappy heels. It also works perfectly in the fall with a pair of booties and a leather jacket for a chic look, like I have here. And in the winter, I think it'll look great with a cozy sweater cardigan, tights for extra warmth and a pair of knee-high boots.

You may recall that I bought this BlankNYC Faux Leather Jacket over the summer during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It’s by far one of my favorite pieces that I picked up. If you don’t already own a leather jacket, then I would suggest adding this one to your wardrobe. This jacket is so versatile because it can be worn all year long – in the fall/winter you can wear it with a pair of dark rinsed jeans or a cute fall floral dress and in the spring/summer you can wear it with white jeans or even some pretty pastels. It also comes in two colors like this camel/brown that I'm wearing and black. And the $98 price point isn’t bad either considering the faux leather looks like the real thing. As far as the fit is concerned, I think the jacket runs a little small. I’m wearing a Medium over this lace tunic and I think it would fit fine over a thin sweater too.
