Moody Style: My "Go-To" Dress

I bought this dress a few weeks ago when I went into Anthropologie to try on a few new arrivals.  When I got into the fitting room, I saw a lady with this dress on her contemplating whether she needed to get this dress in front of the three-way mirror.  I thought it looked amazing on her and agreed with the other fitting room admirers – that she had to get the dress.

Since the dress looked so good on her, I naturally had to try it on for myself.  I asked the sales associate to grab my size and I immediately slipped it on. I’m so happy I did because this dress fit like a dream.  When I stepped out of the fitting room to check it out in the three-way mirror, another customer saw the dress on me and fell in love with it.  She quickly ran back out to the sales floor to grab on to try on.  I didn’t get to see the dress on her, but all three of us ultimately ended up at the register with the same dress in our hands. Oh the power of the three-way mirror.

On the mornings that you wake up and think you have nothing to wear, then this dress is perfect for you. I called this dress perfect because it’s just one of those go-to dresses that you grab without thinking about it. The color is perfect and the fabric is a lightweight jersey material, which is great for summer and for layering in the fall.  The handkerchief hemline and the diagonal detail also offers some movement without revealing too much.  This picture really doesn’t capture how flowy this dress is, but I'll post it here real soon since I’m always in this dress.  Do you have any go-to summer dresses in your closet?  Let me know in the comments below.
